Shootout at wadala  is written and directed by sanjay gupta  . the film features john abraham  , anil kapoor , kangna ranaut , tusshar kapoor and sonu sood in lead roles . the film will dramatize the first -ever registered encounter by mumbai police , where gangster manya surve was shot dead , which took place  at the junction next to dr. ambedkar college , wadala ,mumbai on 1 november 1982.the film is expected to release on   may - 1 - 2013 .music in the film by anu malik
